Skyjoggers are a space rock power trio from Tampere, Finland. In their music they combine psychedelia of the 60s and modern instrumental rock spiced with good vibes. They were formed in early 2017 and released their first EP ”Fuzz Lightyear” in September 2017.
Skyjoggers' sound captures the essence of cosmic exploration, characterised by hypnotic riffs, rich instrumental textures and an experimental approach that pushes boundaries. Their music is predominantly instrumental, with dynamic live performances that have earned them praise at festivals across Europe, including Desertfest Berlin.
On their album ‘12021: Post-Electric Apocalypse’ (released in May 2025 via Supernatural Cat Recordings), the band showcases their heaviest side yet, incorporating elements of black and doom metal into their unique space rock mix. The album's lyrics, written during the pandemic, wildfires and global wars, deal with themes of death, loss and despair, but attempt to spread a ray of hope through the music.
