Narbo Dacal are a band from Kraków, comprising Eliza (vocals and bass), Bartek (drums) and Drut (guitar). Their music, which is not entirely easy to define, lies somewhere between doom metal and progressive metal, whilst also drawing on many other genres such as folk, sludge and even black metal. Having embarked on their musical journey in June 2020, they entered Kraków’s No Solace Studio in September 2021. Under the guidance of M. (Mgła, Kriegsmaschine), they recorded their debut EP, which was released by Piranha Music in January 2022. Having played several gigs in 2022 (including the Summer Dying Loud, Castle Party and Great September festivals, as well as supporting the American band Coven and touring with several Polish bands), the band returned once again to Studio No Solace. The result of their collaboration with M. is the album ‘Elysium Now’, which was released in November 2023, once again on Piranha Music, and promoted with a nationwide tour alongside the band Wij.
